Sorry for being late on this one. Here is the NFC North and I will post the NFC South in about an hour or so.
NFC North:
Chicago Bears-
Key Game- Week 11 at San Francisco. One of the many prime time games that Chicago has. Monday night on the road against the 49ers. I will admit, I am not a big fan of what the 49ers did last year. I don't think that Alex Smith will be able to repeat what he did last year, as well as that defense. I do agree that the defense can post very good numbers again but Alex Smith just really isn't a big game QB. I don't think he deserved any credit from what that team did last year. I do think that the Bears can go into Candlestick Park and take one away from the 49ers. This will be by far the hardest division this year and for the next couple of years.
Overall record for the Bears- 10-6
Detroit Lions-
Key Game- Week 14 at Green Bay. I don't see the Lions winning this game but if they do, it really proves that the Lions are for real.I think they are a good team who can make it to the playoffs again this year and probably even get past the first round. They will have a great season and probably take one of the wild card slots this season. The Packers will win this division because they are just to good.
Overall record for the Lions- 11-5
Green Bay Packers-
Key Game- Week 12 at New York. The Packers have one of the most favorable schedules to return back to where they were a year ago. I would not be shocked at all to see this team go 16-0. It will not happen though. I had a really hard time deciding the outcome of this game. I decided to go with the Giants because of their bye. They come off of their bye into this game and will be fresh and have plenty of time to prepare for the high powered Aaron Rodgers offense. The Packers win this division and go to the NFC Championship game again.
Key Game- Week 5 vs Titans. This is a game where they can prove they can actually win some games this season. The Vikings have a lot of questions that need to be answered going into the season. One way to answer these problems is to win games. I do not see the Vikings winning this one and will end up at the bottom of this division. I think rebuilding through the draft is the best way to rebuild and with this years draft and next years draft I think they can return to being a contender for the playoffs.
Overall record for the Vikings- 4-12
